Come one, come all!
We have a game day set up for Monday, February 12, at Rook and Rogue Board Game Pub in downtown Bellingham, 1-4 p.m.
Guidelines: Parents need to stay, or have a parent designated to watch their child. You know your kids best, and obviously if it’s a teen who can take the bus in to play board games, that’s different than if you’re dropping off three toddlers with a distracted friend (don’t do this, BTW…)
It’s a restaurant with hundreds of board games, if you haven’t been there!
It’s a very cool place. They make their money from food and drink. It is free for us to come in and play games, but to be good customers, and to be able to return every month, it would good to buy food and drink if you can. You can do soup, a kid’s meal, or tater tots for under $5, or a drink with unlimited refills for $5.
The waiter adds on 18 percent since we are a large group.
If you can’t buy anything, come anyway. They like having our business and my kids will order enough to make up for it.
We can do this however we like: Parents can sit on the other side of the room and kids can go sit at their own tables and play games, families can play games together with smaller kids, whatever works for you. All ages are welcome.
